Manchester Skate Scene: April is Packed with Derby Drills & Sunday Socials!

What an incredible month it’s been for the Manchester skate scene! The energy is buzzing, and it’s clear that April is set to be even bigger. The Let’s Roll app has been lighting up with new skaters joining the community and fresh spots being mapped out, showing the grassroots passion that defines this city. The streets are alive and well, with skaters exploring every corner.

But that’s not all! The organized scene is absolutely thriving, offering something for every style and skill level. Whether you’re looking for a chilled-out weekend roll or want to sharpen your derby skills, Manchester has you covered. Get ready for a series of awesome Sunday Skates with Manc Skating in Didsbury, or if you’re feeling competitive, Manchester Roller Derby is hosting sessions like MRD’s Offence Club to help you level up. It’s the perfect mix of street skating and community events!

New Spots on the Map

The hunt for perfect pavement never stops! This month, the community put a brand new location on our radar: St. James’s Street. We can’t wait to see the clips that come out of this spot. Meanwhile, the conversation continues on established locations, with an honest review dropping for the Tesco Car Park. Keep exploring and sharing your discoveries!

Welcome, New Rollers!

The Manchester skate family just keeps growing! Let’s give a huge, warm welcome to the newest skaters we’ve spotted on the Let’s Roll app. Great to see ashfault, goolives, hobo.sk8, and demi_x out there and sharing the stoke. We’re so excited to see what you bring to the scene!

The Community's Verdict

Honest feedback helps everyone! This month, a new review popped up for the Tesco Car Park, giving it a 2-star rating. This kind of real-world info is invaluable for skaters deciding where to roll next. If you’ve got an opinion on a local spot, be sure to add your review on the app!
