What’s up, Manchester skaters, and welcome to your January 2026 roll-out! As we glide into the new year, it’s the perfect time to look back at the incredible heart and soul of our community. December wasn’t just about festive fun; it was about standing together. The Manchester roller derby scene showed its true colours by hosting the powerful Skaters Unite for Trans Rights fundraiser, proving that our community is as much about support and solidarity as it is about skating.
Of course, we kept the good times rolling, too! The holiday season was buzzing with energy, from the consistently awesome Sunday Skate sessions with Manc Skating in Didsbury to fantastically festive events like the Roller Skating Rocket Elves. December was packed with opportunities to lace up, and we’re carrying that unstoppable momentum right into January. Let’s make this a month of new tricks, new friends, and new discoveries!
