Hey Leeds skaters! It’s been a bit of a quiet one on the Let’s Roll app this past month, with no new spots or sessions logged by the community. But don’t let that fool you—the city’s skate scene is still very much alive and kicking, especially if you’re looking to learn the ropes or find a fun, regular social skate!
While we wait for the street spots to start popping up in the app again, the indoor scene is offering some fantastic opportunities. If you’re a new skater or want to build your confidence, the awesome folks at Roller Girl Gang are hosting Level 1 & 2: Roller Skate Fundamentals classes. And for those just looking for a chilled-out vibe and great tunes, The Skate Sanctuary’s Friday Night Social Roller Skate Disco is the perfect place to connect with other skaters. Let’s make March the month we get back out there and start sharing our own discoveries!
Log Your Sessions & Inspire the Scene!
No public sessions were logged in Leeds this February, but March is a new month! Whether you’re drilling basics in a car park or cruising through the city, log your session to track your progress and show everyone what the Leeds scene is all about.
“Not many folks, as loads going to Pink Lemonade tomorrow. Much shooting of ducks and one footed backwards skating”
“Busy night, but not so many of our regular crowd, so most skating I've done in a while! Proper leg…”
“Blessed Imbolc. 🌱 🌼 Which marks the beginning of spring and the waking up of mother earth after winter.”
