Hey Birmingham skaters! It may have been a quiet month for new discoveries on the Let’s Roll app, but that doesn’t mean the city’s skate scene wasn’t absolutely buzzing with energy. The biggest and most inspiring news came from an incredible adaptive skate clinic held at City Walk Skatepark during the AT Alabama Conference. Seeing adaptive skateboarders and WCMX riders showcase their skills was a powerful reminder that skating is for everyone, and it has us fired up for the month ahead!
Beyond that amazing event, the community vibes kept rolling with events like the weekly Ladies that Skate meetup, offering a perfect space for skaters to connect and improve. And get ready to hit the streets, because The Grand Skate Tour is planning a stop in Birmingham for intermediate and advanced inline skaters. It’s a fantastic time to be a skater in Birmingham, so let’s keep the momentum going into October!
