What’s up, Seattle skaters! As the November rain gives way to that crisp winter air, the Emerald City’s skate scene is absolutely buzzing with gratitude and community spirit. While it was a little quiet on the Let’s Roll app this month, the real-world action was off the charts. The biggest news comes from just down the road, where the community rallied to save the Fawcett D.I.Y. skatepark in Tacoma, proving that skater power is unstoppable! It’s a huge win for the entire Puget Sound scene and a reminder of what we can do when we work together.
Closer to home, the holiday vibes got rolling early with a ton of amazing events. Skaters had the chance to give thanks on eight wheels at the Thanks-Skating Day & Fall Fundraiser Launch! and keep the party going at the 18+ Friendsgiving Skate at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate. These events were the perfect kickoff to the festive season, and we can’t wait to see what December has in store. Let’s make sure to log all our holiday skates in the app and light up the map!
