What a month, Seattle! August was an absolute whirlwind of energy, with skaters from all over flocking to the ShoDown n Seatown – 15th Annual Skate Party and the awesome SINAC Skate Party 2025. The rink vibes were off the charts! We’re also keeping an eye on the El Centro Skate Rink, which is getting some love with renovations this month, so give them a cheer (and maybe expect a little dust) if you stop by.
While the parties were popping off, our Let’s Roll community was busy exploring the great outdoors, uncovering some seriously breathtaking new spots. From scenic bridges to sprawling peninsulas, you all proved that the best skating adventures are the ones we discover ourselves. Let’s dive into the fresh pavement and amazing finds our community put on the map this month!
August's Best New Skate Spots
You all hit the trails hard this month and discovered some absolute gems! We’ve seen a ton of excitement around the brand-new listings for the smooth, scenic paths at the `Dune Peninsula` and along the `Cedar River`. But the star of the show has to be the `Pt. Defiance Pedestrian Bridge`—what an incredible spot for a waterfront cruise. Thanks for mapping out these amazing outdoor routes for the whole community!

Skaters on a Roll
We didn’t feature any specific skaters this month, but the entire Seattle crew deserves a shoutout for the energy you brought to August! Want to nominate a local legend or a rising star? Drop us a line!
Fresh Reviews & Hot Takes
The community was busy skating, not writing! We’re eager to hear your thoughts on the new spots or gear you’ve tried. Leave a review in the app—your advice helps fellow skaters roll with confidence.
