Derby Bouts, Pride Skates & More: What's Rolling in Seattle for July 2025
What a month, Seattle! June was an absolute explosion of community spirit and high-energy skating, and the stoke is definitely carrying us into July. The entire city was buzzing with Pride, and the skate scene was right at the heart of the celebration. Southgate Roller Rink was the place to be, hosting everything from the Rainier Roller Riot's incredible Pride Bout, 'The Pack Is Queer', to its famously joyful and inclusive weekly LGBTQ+ Pride Skate nights.
The action didn’t stop there! Roller derby fans were treated to some intense matchups, including a massive showdown between the Rat City and Jet City All Stars and a fabulous Black and Gold Masquerade Skate Prom to support the next generation of derby stars. With so much happening at the rinks, we’re hyped to see what new street spots, trail skates, and meetups our community discovers and shares on the Let’s Roll app this coming month.
