Happy New Year, San Jose skaters! As we roll out of the holiday season and into January, it looks like our Let’s Roll community took a well-deserved break. We didn’t see any new spots, sessions, or events logged in the app this past month, which means everyone was likely out enjoying the festive vibes!
Speaking of festive, the biggest highlight in the city was without a doubt the seasonal pop-up rink in the Circle of Palms Plaza. Whether you know it as Aloha Downtown Skate or the classic ‘Skate Under the Palms’, this holiday tradition brought amazing energy to the heart of the city. It’s the perfect example of how San Jose keeps the skate spirit alive, and we hope you all got a chance to experience it!

It seems skaters were keeping their sessions private this past month, as no new public sessions were logged in the San Jose area. Don’t be shy! Logging your public skates is the best way to connect with new friends and build our local crew. Let’s see those sessions in January!
