Hey San Jose skaters! It’s been a quieter month in the Let’s Roll app, but some major news just dropped that affects all of us. We’re facing a tough moment as a community with the heartbreaking announcement that the beloved Aloha Roller Rink at Eastridge Center will be closing permanently in February 2025. For six years, Aloha has been a hub for so many of us, and its loss will be deeply felt.
This news means our local outdoor spots, trail skates, and community-led meetups are more important than ever for keeping our scene vibrant. While we didn’t have any new discoveries logged in the app this past month, let’s make it our mission for January to get out there, skate together, and light up the map with new sessions and spots. It’s time to show everyone how strong and resilient the San Jose skate community truly is.
