What a month for San Francisco skaters! July was an absolute whirlwind of community spirit, and the energy is rolling right into August. The absolute highlight was the incredible SKATE GOLDEN GATE event, which transformed the Presidio into a roller rink with stunning bridge views. We also celebrated 44 years of SF skate history with the fantastic San Francisco Skaters Showcase. These events beautifully showcased the positive, organized power of our community, offering a stark contrast to the controversy surrounding the unsanctioned Dolores Street hill bomb event that made headlines.
It’s this dedication to creating amazing, inclusive spaces that truly defines the SF scene. From the legendary San Francisco Friday Night Skate that brings us together every week to our own Let’s Roll explorers finding fresh new pavement, it’s clear that this city lives and breathes skating. Let’s keep that fantastic momentum going!
