What’s up, San Francisco skaters! As we roll into May, the energy in the Bay is absolutely electric. April was an incredible month of exploration, with our Let’s Roll community putting a mind-blowing 60+ new and rediscovered skate spots on the map! From sprawling concrete parks to hidden DIY gems, you’ve been busy, and it’s paying off for all of us. This is what community is all about: sharing the knowledge so we can all get out and shred.
The awesome community vibes aren’t just happening in the app. The spirit of support was on full display when the BRSF awarded skater Darius Sanders at the JBX Reunion Party, providing a contribution to help him chase his skating dreams. It’s a beautiful reminder that our scene is built on lifting each other up. Let’s carry that energy into a new month of skating!
Our Community Mapped the Bay: Over 60 Spots Added!
Seriously, give yourselves a round of applause! The sheer number of spots added this month is amazing. We’ve seen everything from iconic parks like the legendary Potrero Del Sol Skatepark and SoMa West Skatepark get logged, to grittier, creative spaces like the Cow Palace DIY Ghetto. Whether you’re in the city or exploring the wider Bay at spots like Pacifica Skatepark, our map is more comprehensive than ever thanks to you.
