Happy New Year, San Diego skaters! While our own Let’s Roll app was a bit quiet on new discoveries over the holidays, the local scene is absolutely buzzing with opportunities to get your roll on this January. The biggest can’t-miss event is the temporary Ups and Downtown Roller Rink in Escondido, which is only here until January 3rd—so you’ve got to be quick! It’s the perfect way to kick off 2026 with some fresh air and festive vibes.
Beyond the pop-up, there’s plenty more action to check out. For a massive dose of adrenaline, the Nitro Circus 'Off The Rails' Tour is hitting the Pechanga Arena with mind-blowing stunts. And of course, our classic local rinks are holding it down with Adult Skate Night at Skateworld and regular public sessions at Ringer’s Roller Rink. For our advanced street skaters, there’s even a cool Harbor Island to Downtown group skate planned. Let’s make this January a month full of amazing skates!
