What’s up, San Diego skaters! As the sun sets on a fantastic summer of skating, we’re rolling into the cooler, crisper days of October. While the big summer-long events have wrapped up, the scene is anything but quiet—it’s just waiting for us to make our own fun! This is the perfect time for exploration, rediscovering our favorite paths, and maybe even trying something new.
Speaking of new things, if you’ve got young skaters in your life, now is an amazing time to get them into the world of derby! Skateworld is offering a Fundamentals of Derby class for kids that’s sure to build skills and confidence. For the rest of us, October is a blank canvas. Let’s get out there, log our sessions, and put some fresh spots on the Let’s Roll map for everyone to enjoy!
Who's Rolling in San Diego?
We’re looking to shine the spotlight on the skaters who make this city’s scene so vibrant. We didn’t have any new featured skaters pop up in the app this month, so make sure your profile is updated! Get out there, log those sessions, and you might be featured next.
Tell Us What You Think!
No new reviews came in this past month, and your fellow skaters need your insights! Is that new rink worth the hype? Did you find a path that’s cracked and best avoided? Drop a review on your favorite (or least favorite) spot in the app and help guide the community.

Log Your Miles, Share the Stoke
The session feed was quiet, San Diego! We know you’re out there putting in the work. Let’s light up the map this October by logging every skate, from a quick cruise around the block to a long-distance trail skate. Let’s see who can rack up the most miles!
“30th bday skate”
“Love a little beach view 😍”
“Just a quick circle to practice”
“Nice skate along the boardwalk trail before a picnic!”
