What’s up, San Diego skaters! July was an absolute scorcher, and the skate scene is heating up right along with it for August. The big news is that summer events are in full swing, giving us so many opportunities to roll together. We’re especially hyped for the new Skate Sundays at Gaslamp Quarter, which will be bringing themed nights all month long. Plus, you can still catch the last few days of skating with incredible bay views at the reopened Downtown Skate rink through July 9th.
While these big events are amazing, what truly makes our community special is the constant hunt for new pavement. This month, our own Let’s Roll explorers put a fantastic new spot on the map: the Snapdragon Metro Link. It’s this balance of awesome organized events and raw, street-level discovery that makes skating in San Diego unbeatable right now. Let’s dive into what’s happening!
Community Discovery: New Urban Skate Lines
The spirit of exploration is alive and well! This month, we’re giving a huge shout-out to the skater who added the ‘Snapdragon Metro Link’ to our map. This find is perfect for those who love carving out new paths and enjoying the city’s infrastructure on eight wheels. Keep those discoveries coming!
