What a month, San Diego! As we roll out of September, the energy in our skate community is absolutely electric. The biggest news comes straight from our own Let’s Roll explorers, who’ve just added the incredible **balboa** spot to our map! This is what our app is all about—finding and sharing those perfect patches of pavement together. While we were busy discovering new gems, the city was buzzing with amazing get-togethers. We waved a fond farewell to the fantastic Gaslamp Skate Sunday Series, which wrapped up its season with a blast-from-the-past 90s theme.
Speaking of community, the derby scene was on fire! Slam Diego Roller Derby showed us what they’re all about, hosting a Rainbow Skate Fundraiser to support their search for a new track. Even more exciting, they opened their doors to the next generation of skaters with a Youth & Adult New Skater Orientation, proving that our San Diego skate family is always growing. It’s this mix of grassroots discovery and organized fun that makes our scene so special. Let’s keep this momentum rolling into October!
