What’s up, Sacramento skaters! October was a month where the competitive spirit of roller derby absolutely electrified the city. While our own Let’s Roll app community was a bit quiet on the discovery front, the energy was undeniably focused on the track, with Sacramento Roller Derby putting on some incredible events that had the whole scene buzzing.
It all kicked off with the next generation of skaters in the Beastie Bears Take Back the Track!!! event, proving the future of Sac skating is fierce and bright. The month culminated in the massive, three-day Bearhouse Brawl Tournament, a can’t-miss showcase of skill and strategy. As we roll into November, let’s carry this high-octane energy back to the streets and parks and get some new community discoveries on the map!
