What an incredible month for the Raleigh skate scene! April was buzzing with a powerful sense of community, proving that skaters in the Triangle know how to come together to support the sport we love. From the fierce competition at the Carolina Roller Derby All Stars & Bootleggers vs. Twin Valleys bout to the inspiring grassroots efforts of Skate Raleigh’s Volunteer Spring Cleaning and the amazing 2025 Wheel—A—Thon fundraiser, the energy was absolutely electric. That same spirit of exploration is alive and well right here in the Let’s Roll community.

As we roll into the warmer days of May, that collective energy is fueling new discoveries. This month, our own skaters put a fantastic new location on the map, giving us all fresh pavement to explore. The momentum from April is undeniable, and it’s setting the stage for an amazing skate season ahead. Let’s keep sharing, exploring, and rolling together!

“It’s 3 tennis courts that are hardly ever used for actual tennis. Relatively smooth surface, a bit smoother than concrete, mostly free of debris. Good for laps, practicing certain moves, and hanging with the crew. Only one bench and mostly unshaded, so bring a chair and sunscreen.”

The Raleigh session feed was quiet in April, but with the weather getting better every day, it’s the perfect time to start logging your skates. Create a session, invite your crew, and let’s fill up the map with all the awesome places we’re rolling this May!
