What’s up, Portland skaters! As we roll into January, the Rose City’s skate scene is absolutely buzzing, proving that a little winter chill can’t stop us. While our app’s feed has been quiet on new spot discoveries (maybe everyone’s staying dry!), the city’s rinks are turning up the heat with an incredible lineup of events. We’re talking about high-energy roller derby, themed adult skate nights, and inclusive community meetups that will keep your wheels spinning all month long.
Leading the charge, the legendary Rose City Rollers are hosting a Heathers vs. TRU: Denim on Denim Night that you seriously don’t want to miss. Over at Rolla Skate Club, the party never stops with multiple Adult Skate Parties and family-friendly sessions on the calendar. And for our LGBTQ+ skate family, the beloved Gay Skate nights at Oaks Park continue to be a staple of the community. It’s a fantastic month to lace up, get indoors, and connect with your fellow skaters!
