What’s up, Portland skaters! May was an incredible month for our scene, and the energy is rolling right into June. The Let’s Roll community has been busy charting new territory, adding some amazing outdoor spots to the app perfect for those sunny days ahead. We’re talking scenic riverfront paths and silky-smooth schoolyards just waiting for you to carve them up.
On the event front, the city was buzzing with action, especially from the Rose City Rollers. They threw down with an epic Y2K-themed roller derby bout and brought everyone together for their family-friendly Roller Rally Carnival fundraiser. For those seeking late-night rhythm, the 2Raw Adult Skate at Oaks Park delivered the perfect vibes. Let’s dive into the highlights!
Community Discoveries: Portland's Newest Skate Spots
Our crew was out exploring this month! We’ve added two fantastic new locations to the app. For a classic city skate with incredible views, you have to check out the smooth paths along the **Eastbank Esplanade**. And if you’re looking for a pristine surface to practice your moves, the lot at **Irvington Elementary** is a new community favorite.

“there are a few good stretches to skate along but the sections under the bridges are tough if you aren’t used to hills/slopes. a few of them turn to cobble stone at the bottom of said slopes which was not fun for me. “
