Happy holidays, Portland skaters! As we cruise into the new year, the Rose City is absolutely buzzing with can’t-miss events. While our app’s community discoveries were a bit quiet this month, the city’s schedule is more than making up for it. The legendary Rose City Rollers are closing out the year with a bang, hosting not one, but two incredible bouts. On December 7th, don’t miss the special fundraiser game as the High Rollers take on Discordias Roller Derby all the way from Mexico City!
All the action is centered around the iconic Oaks Park, which is truly the heart of Portland skating this season. Beyond the derby track, you can get into the giving spirit all month long by donating to the KGW Great Toy Drive during any skate session. And for the grand finale, get ready to lace up and send 2024 off in style at the massive New Year's Eve Skate Party at Oaks Park. Let’s make some noise and roll into January together!
