What’s up, Portland skaters! As we roll into June, the energy in Rose City is absolutely electric. Our Let’s Roll community has been busy, officially putting the legendary Oaks Park Roller Skating Rink on the map. This is the heart and soul of classic rink skating in PDX, and it’s awesome to see it getting the love it deserves from all of you.
But it’s not just about the classic wood floors! The community-driven street scene is popping off. While we didn’t have any events added to the app, we found confirmation that the incredible, pop-up Secret Roller Disco held multiple events throughout April and May. This is what makes Portland’s scene so special—that vibrant, grassroots energy. Let’s keep our eyes peeled for their next announcement and get ready for an amazing month of skating!
Freshly Mapped: The Rose City Rink
Big shout-out to our app users! This past month, the Portland community officially put a pin in an absolute institution: the one and only Oaks Park Roller Skating Rink. It’s fantastic to see this iconic spot, with its classic Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, lighting up our map. Got another favorite park, trail, or hidden gem? Add it to the app and share it with the crew!

“Beautiful floor & great music. There is a certain day they play organ music though so make sure you find out before you go. “
