What’s up, Phoenix skaters! It’s been a little quiet on the Let’s Roll app this past month, but we know the scene out there has been anything but! The energy is absolutely electric, especially in the roller derby world. We’re still buzzing from the action at the end of August when Arizona Roller Derby hosted the massive Monsoon Madness 2025 tournament. Eleven teams from all over North America descended on Mesa, and the competition was fierce! It’s clear the Valley is a major hub for high-level derby.
The derby love kept rolling through September, with the Arizona Derby Dames opening their doors for a New Skater Orientation to welcome fresh talent to the banked track. For those of us just looking for a classic rink session, Great Skate in Glendale kept the good times flowing with their recurring Saturday afternoon skates. While it’s awesome to see these big events, our community map is looking a little empty. Let’s make a goal for October to get all our favorite local discoveries logged and shared!

Log Your Skate Sessions
