What’s up, Phoenix skaters! June was an absolutely scorching month for rolling in the Valley, and the energy is carrying right into July. The community vibes were off the charts with skating popping up everywhere, from a fantastic pop-up rink at the Family First Friday downtown to an epic, hard-hitting bout between Phoenix Roller Derby and the Arizona Rollergirls. It’s amazing to see skating integrated so deeply into our city’s culture!
While the big events were making waves, our own Let’s Roll community was busy on the ground, discovering and mapping out the scene. The biggest find this month was a fantastic new spot added to the app: Skateland! It’s this kind of grassroots discovery that keeps our scene fresh and exciting. Let’s keep the momentum going and make July another month for the books!
