What’s up, Philly skaters! As we roll out of May and into the sweet summer sun of June, it feels like the whole city is coming alive. While our Let’s Roll app community was busy perfecting their moves at their favorite local spots, the city itself was dropping some major seasonal skate opportunities that you absolutely cannot miss!
The energy kicked off early in May with a festive Cinco De Mayo Skate, but the real game-changers are the massive outdoor rinks. The retro-themed Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park is now in full swing, offering a super cool checkerboard floor right in the heart of the city. And just as the month closed out, the beloved Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest opened its doors, bringing that amazing carnival vibe to Penn’s Landing. It’s official: summer skate season is ON!
