Philly skaters, what an absolutely incredible June! The city was electric with skate energy, from the massive turnout for the annual Philly Free Skate to the aggressive skaters who threw down at the Last Try Competition. While we’ve sadly said goodbye to the retro vibes at the Rothman Rink for the season, the summer fun is just getting started. The party continues all July long at the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest, the city’s premier spot for riverside rolling!
And while the big events captured the downtown spotlight, the Let’s Roll community was busy exploring and putting new gems on the map. You all have been finding some of the best trails and parks in the area, proving that Philly’s skate scene thrives everywhere, from the heart of Center City to the quiet, scenic paths along the river. This month, it’s all about balancing those big, festive rink sessions with some soul-filling trail skating.
