What’s up, Orlando skaters! July was a surprisingly quiet month on the Let’s Roll app, with not a lot of new sessions or spots logged. Did we all take a vacation? While our community map was taking a breather, the wider Orlando skate scene was still making moves, especially with the Orlando Roller Derby!
They’ve been in full recruitment mode for their Fall Fast Track program. While their final info session was at the end of July, this is a huge sign of the vibrant energy in the derby community. If you’ve ever considered strapping on some quad skates and getting into the action, you should definitely keep an eye on the Orlando Roller Derby events page for their next recruitment cycle. Let’s make August the month we put Orlando back on the map—get out there, log those sessions, and show everyone where you roll!

“Bring a broom and be prepared to walk thru dirt to get here there’s no entrances with hard paths just grass and dirt paths. Pump track is pretty intense and all the facilities are moderately maintained fairly trafficked by skateboarders and bmxers but everybody was friendly!”
