What an absolutely epic month for skating in New York City! August was on fire, bringing skaters from all over the globe together for some of the year’s biggest events. The energy was electric, starting with the legendary Big Apple Roll 2025, which saw huge groups taking on the city’s most iconic landmarks. The community vibes kept flowing with family-friendly skating at the Summer Fun 2025 events and a massive, awe-inspiring street skate where 200+ skaters took over Union Square.
To top it all off, the Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 2 rink was the place to be, closing out the month with an unforgettable Michael Jackson Tribute Skate Night! under the skyline. While our app’s feed was a little quiet this month, the streets were anything but! Let’s carry this incredible momentum into September.
