What an incredible month for skating in New York City! April felt like a city-wide celebration on eight wheels as the energy ramped up for the season. The biggest news was the triumphant return of the legendary Wednesday Night Skate, which kicked off with a massive group of over 250 skaters taking back the Manhattan streets, an event captured in all its glory in this awesome video. The party vibes kept rolling with Roller Wave's 'Spring Love' event, marking their grand return to the city’s skate scene.
While these major events were drawing huge crowds, our own Let’s Roll community was on the ground, mapping out the very heart of the action. You all were busy adding crucial spots to the app, most notably the iconic Pier 2 Roller Rink. This wasn’t a coincidence—Pier 2 was a major hub all month, hosting everything from daily Spring Break sessions to a special Troll Roll event.
