Hello Minneapolis skaters! As the crisp autumn air rolls in, so do some big changes and exciting opportunities for our skate community. The end of the outdoor season is upon us, with the final open skate at Rollin' @ the ROC wrapping up in late September. More significantly, we’ve learned that the beloved Twin Cities Skaters’ TCS Studio Uptown is planning to close its doors in October, so be sure to get in those last few glides at the studio while you can.
But don’t hang up your skates just yet! The scene is still buzzing with energy. Twin Cities Skaters is keeping the community rolling with a packed schedule of lessons, all-ages sessions, and the super chill Golden Groove for adults. And for anyone who’s been curious about derby, now is your moment! The North Star Roller Derby is kicking off a new ‘Learn to skate’ program this fall. It’s a bittersweet time of endings and new beginnings, so let’s lace up and make the most of every roll!
