What an absolutely incredible month for the Minneapolis skate scene! The energy is buzzing, and it’s all thanks to the biggest news of the season: the grand opening of the Twin Cities Skaters Studio! Having a new, dedicated roller rink right in the heart of Uptown is a game-changer for our community, giving us a permanent home to jam, learn, and connect. This is the kind of growth we love to see, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
While the new indoor spot is the talk of the town, you all have been soaking up the sun, too. June was packed with amazing outdoor events like Skatin' in Commons downtown and the ongoing vibes at the Rice Park Roller Disco. And even with all this newness, it’s awesome to see skaters on the Let’s Roll app still exploring and sharing classic rinks. It’s clear that from brand new studios to beloved local rinks, the Minneapolis scene is thriving!
