What an absolute emotional rollercoaster November was for the Miami skate community! We all felt our hearts sink with the news that the legendary Super Wheels in Kendall was closing its doors after nearly 40 years. The community turned out in huge numbers for the massive 'End of an Era' party on November 25th to say goodbye to a true institution.

But just when we thought it was over, we got the best news imaginable! In a stunning turn of events, it was announced that the rink will be reopening on January 1, 2024, under new ownership as the ‘Miami Roller Rink’. This is a massive win for all of us and a testament to the power of our community. While the rink drama was unfolding, our Let’s Roll skaters proved the scene never stops, hitting the streets and uncovering awesome new spots. It shows that no matter what happens, Miami keeps rolling forward!

New Spots on the Map

While all eyes were on the rink news, our community was busy exploring every corner of the city. This month, we saw some fantastic new street and trail spots added to the app. Big shout-outs to the skaters who discovered the smooth-looking stretch at “wild lime” and the intriguing new challenge known as “troll bridge”!
