What’s up, Detroit! While our Let’s Roll app was a bit quiet on new discoveries this past month, the Motor City’s skate scene was anything but! The energy rolling into January is absolutely electric, thanks to a December packed with incredible action. The community was buzzing with major events, proving that even when the temps drop, Detroit skaters keep the floors hot.
The month was highlighted by a fierce showdown at the Masonic Temple for the Detroit Roller Derby December Bout, and we know many of you rang in the new year on eight wheels at the NYE Adult Skate Night at Mad Track Arena. We also heard whispers about the exclusive Detroit Style Local Competition, showing the competitive spirit is alive and well.
