Happy New Year, Columbus! The holiday season was an absolute blast, packed with festive rink sessions, but the real heat is coming in January. The national skate scene has its eyes on our city as the Skateology crew brings the legendary 21st Annual “Icy Hot International Skate Jam” to town! This is a massive, weekend-long celebration of everything we love about roller skating, uniting diverse music and skate styles from all over the country. This is the can’t-miss event of the season, and it’s happening right here in our backyard.
While our Let’s Roll app community was a little quiet on new discoveries this past month, the local rinks were definitely buzzing with energy. Skaters rolled through the holidays with awesome events like the Winter Break Skate Schedule at United Skates and the cheerful Christmas Eve Skating at Skate Zone 71. Now, with a fresh year ahead of us, let’s carry that momentum, get hyped for the big jam, and start sharing our own discoveries!
