Happy holidays, Cleveland skaters! As we glide into the new year, the city’s skate scene is bursting with energy, even if our app feed has been a little quiet. The big news this month is the 2025 Ohio Invitational & Heartland #3, a major speedskating event that brought some serious talent to the Cleveland Heights Community Center. It’s an awesome reminder of the diverse and dedicated skate disciplines right here in our backyard!
For those of us looking for some classic rink time, you’re in luck! The holiday season is delivering amazing opportunities to roll. Both the Zelma Watson George Skating Rink and United Skates of America in Wickliffe have kicked off their special Winter Break schedules, offering tons of extra sessions to keep you rolling through the new year. Let’s make a resolution to get out there, enjoy these rinks, and start logging our sessions for January!
Clocking Miles & Making Memories
We didn’t see any public sessions logged in Cleveland this month. Let’s fill up that feed in January! Track your next skate—whether it’s a long-distance cruise or a park practice—and share your progress.
