Chicago Skate Guide for February: Rink Parties, Dance Classes & New Faces!
Hello, Chicago skaters! As we roll into February, let’s talk about keeping the fire alive during these chilly winter months. While the streets might be icy, the indoor skate scene is absolutely on fire, proving that nothing can stop our city’s passion for rolling. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Skating Center was the place to be in January, hosting everything from K-POP parties to glow carnivals, setting an awesome precedent for the fun to come.
Beyond the rinks, our community continues to shine and grow. We’re thrilled to see new skaters like v.error.nica joining the Let’s Roll app and sharing their journey. And let’s give a massive shout-out to the incredible athletic talent in our city! We were so proud to see the news that three Chicago-area speed skaters are going to the 2026 Winter Olympics. Whether on eight wheels or on blades, Chicago represents! Let’s carry that energy into a fantastic February of skating.
