What a month June has been for the Charlotte skate scene! The energy across the city is absolutely electric, and it’s clear everyone is feeling the summer buzz. The absolute highlight was the incredible Charlotte Roller Derby Home Bout on June 21st. A triple-header during Pride Month? It doesn’t get more epic than that! The turnout and spirit were a powerful reminder of how strong and vibrant our community is.
Looking ahead to July, it’s the perfect time to build on that momentum. Whether you were inspired by the derby action or are just looking for a consistent group to roll with, there are so many ways to get involved. From the awesome Roller skating Workshop that helped skaters level up their skills to the recurring rink nights and adult skate meetups, Charlotte is proving it’s the place to be on eight wheels.
