What an absolutely electric month for skating in Austin! The energy is buzzing, and it’s all because the roller derby season is officially back in full swing. March kicked off with a bang, as celebrated in a recent community article, The Texas Rollergirls Are Back & the Scene is Buzzing!, and the momentum is only building for April.
While the derby tracks and rinks were packed with incredible events, our own Let’s Roll community was making its presence known all over the city. We saw awesome skaters like chowchilla, maex, and skatenamepending logging sessions and keeping the street and park scene alive and well. It’s this perfect mix of organized events and grassroots passion that makes the ATX skate scene one of the best in the country.
