Happy New Year, Madrid skaters! As we roll into January, let’s talk about where to get your glide on. First, a quick heads-up: you may have heard buzz about a massive ice rink at the Metropolitano stadium, but the ‘Madrid on Ice’ event has unfortunately been cancelled due to logistical issues. Don’t hang up your skates, though, because the city is still packed with incredible options!

The best news for our community is that the Matadero Madrid Ice Rink is not only open until January 6th but is also hosting roller disco sessions! It’s the perfect spot to swap blades for wheels and groove. For a more classic winter experience, you can’t go wrong with the beautiful rink at the Galería de Cristal del Palacio de Cibeles or the festive atmosphere at the Plaza de España rink. Let’s make this January a month full of amazing skates!
