What’s up, Cape Town skaters! October might have seemed a little quiet on the app, but don’t let that fool you – the energy in the Mother City is absolutely electric. While our community was out there living it up instead of logging new spots, the scene has been buzzing with awesome get-togethers. We hope you didn’t miss the epic Disco 18 October hosted by the incredible Cape Town Rollergirls – what a blast that was!
This local passion is exactly what’s fueling the bigger picture. In case you missed it, there’s been major talk about South Africa making a bid for the 2028 World Skate Games, with Cape Town at the heart of the movement! It’s proof that our grassroots scene is part of something huge. So, as we roll into November, let’s get inspired, get out there, and show the world what Cape Town is made of!
Spotlight On: Our Community
We didn’t have any new skaters create profiles this past month, and we’re itching to see some new faces! Are you a new skater finding your wheels, or a seasoned vet with skills to share? Create your profile, tell us your story, and connect with fellow rollers across the city.
Where's the Sesh? Log Your Rolls!
The session log was empty this month, but we bet the Sea Point Promenade and the local skate parks were still buzzing! Logging your skate sessions is the best way to track your progress and link up with others who skate your favorite spots. Let’s fill up that feed in November!
