What’s up, Cape Town skaters! February was a whirlwind of big news and even bigger events, setting us up for an incredible March. The massive news is, of course, the Let's Roll at Canal Walk event, which kicked off on February 24th and runs all the way to May! The amazing Isa Mother City Rollers opened the floor, and this is *the* place to be for the next couple of months. It’s awesome to see skating getting such a huge spotlight in a prime location.
In other major news, there was a bit of a rollercoaster with the Cape Town Pro. While we were all hyped about the initial announcements, the event has now been postponed to December 2025. It’s a bummer for now, but it just means we have something epic to look forward to at the end of the year! It was also great to see the beginner scene thriving with the successful Learn to Roll workshop earlier in the month. While our app feed was a bit quiet, it’s clear you were all out there making waves at these fantastic events!
