What an incredible month for the Cape Town skate scene! April was buzzing with energy, from the massive public takeover at the mall to the core sessions happening at our local parks. Our community was out in full force, lighting up a huge number of spots across the city and proving that the Mother City’s passion for rolling is stronger than ever.
The absolute highlight was the Canal Walk presents Let's Roll event, which brought a fantastic old-school rink vibe to a whole new audience—those silent disco sessions were legendary! It’s amazing to see skating celebrated on such a big stage. And let’s not forget the incredible community spirit shown by the Isa Mother City Rollers, who brought their A-game to the Cape Town Carnival back in March, showing the whole city how we roll. Let’s carry this amazing momentum into May!
