What’s up, Auckland skaters! April was an absolutely massive month for the competitive artistic scene, and the energy is still buzzing. While our community app was a bit quiet on new spot discoveries, the city itself was alive with some serious talent on display. The spotlight was firmly on the incredible athletes at events like the North Shore Cup and, of course, the Northern Area Championships held at the Barfoot & Thompson Stadium. Congratulations to everyone who competed and showcased their skills!

For those of us looking for a more casual roll, our go-to rinks like Skateland kept the good times flowing with their public sessions, even with a brief closure on the 18th. As we roll into May, let’s take all that inspiration from the competitions and hit the streets! Let’s make next month’s update packed with new parks, trails, and street spots discovered by you. Get out there, get exploring, and log those sessions!

Let's See Those Sessions!

No public sessions were logged on the app in April. Let’s light up that map in May! Logging your skate sessions is the best way to connect with other local skaters and show everyone where the action is happening. Let’s see where you’re rolling!
