What a month for skating in Amsterdam! May absolutely went off, setting a high bar for the summer sessions to come. The city was buzzing with energy, especially with the massive Shred fest at Urban Sports Week Amsterdam taking over the NDSM werf. We saw the nation’s best battle it out in the Dutch National Championship for Aggressive Inline, and skaters of all levels got to join in on open sessions and clinics. The community vibe was strong too, with a fantastic late-night street skate rolling out from the EYE Filmmuseum.
While these major events were incredible, our own Let’s Roll app has been a little quiet on the Amsterdam front. This is our call to action for June! Let’s take all that inspiration and light up the map. It’s time to log our sessions, add the hidden spots we’ve discovered, and connect with the skaters we see out on the pavement. Let’s make June the month we show everyone the true, day-to-day energy of the Amsterdam skate scene!
