What an incredible way to wrap up the year, Tokyo! The entire Let’s Roll community is buzzing with pride, and for good reason. The absolute biggest news is the phenomenal achievement of Waka, an instructor at the Tokyo Dome Roller Skate Arena, who just secured an incredible 4th place in the World Championships! This is a massive inspiration for all of us and proves that our local scene is truly world-class. This amazing news capped off a month of high-energy action, including the hotly contested Arena Cup trick slalom event, which brought so many talented skaters together.
As we roll into January, let’s carry this amazing energy into the new year. Whether you’re hitting up an indoor rink to escape the cold or finding a dry patch of pavement, keep that fire lit. A quick heads-up for all you rink regulars: be sure to check the New Year's holiday hours for the Tokyo Dome Roller Skate Arena to plan your sessions accordingly. Let’s make 2026 a year of progression, community, and epic skates!
