What an absolutely electric month for roller skating in Jakarta! All eyes were on the Jakarta International Roller Track Arena (JIRTA) for the Jakarta Open International Championship 2025, a massive event that brought together 1,300 athletes from all over the world. With the city government throwing its full support behind the championship, it’s clear that Jakarta is serious about cementing its place on the global skate map.
With all the focus on the international competition, it’s no surprise that our community’s app activity was a little quieter. You were all probably glued to the action, getting inspired by the pros! Now, as we roll into December, it’s time to channel that inspiration. Let’s take the incredible energy from the championship and flood the app with our own local sessions, spots, and events.
