Happy New Year, Paris skaters! As we roll into January, the city’s skate scene is taking a well-deserved winter breath. While our app’s discovery feed has been quiet this past month, it’s the perfect time to focus on our community’s core. The biggest news comes from our friends at Rollers & Coquillages, the amazing crew behind the legendary Sunday street skate.
They’ve announced a Trêve hivernale 2024 (Winter break), so the massive Sunday skate from Bastille is currently on pause. While we’ll miss seeing thousands of wheels hitting the pavement together, this break is a great opportunity to show them some love. They’ve put out an end-of-year call for support to help them keep the good times rolling when they return. Let’s show them what the Let’s Roll community is all about and help them gear up for an amazing spring season!
