What a month for roller skating in Lyon! As we roll into May, let’s look back at the incredible energy from April. The city is absolutely buzzing, from the competitive circuit to our very own grassroots discoveries. We saw Lyon’s talent shine on the national stage, with Marie Bodilis of the Lyon Roller Métropole club putting in a fantastic performance at the Championnat de France Marathon 2024. The community spirit was on full display with events like the Meet-up by CIB Lyon bringing skaters together for street sessions.
Best of all, our own Let’s Roll skaters were busy exploring, adding a brand new pump track to our shared map! This is what it’s all about: sharing the spots we love. And of course, the heart of Lyon’s weekly skate scene, the Randonnée Générations Roller continues to be the can’t-miss event every Friday night. It’s the perfect way to see the city and meet fellow skaters. Let’s keep this momentum going through May!
