What a month, Helsinki! The Let’s Roll community has been on fire, putting the city’s skate scene firmly on the map—literally! April saw an incredible explosion of activity, with over 30 skateparks, DIYs, and street spots added to our app. From the iconic concrete waves of the Suvilahti DIY to local favourites like Grani Skatepark and the indoor ramps at Ponke’s the Park, our collective map is now absolutely brimming with places to explore. It’s clear the passion for rolling is stronger than ever.
And it’s not just the parks that are buzzing. The whole scene is thriving, right down to the grassroots level. We saw the Helsinki Roller Derby Beginners' Course wrap up a successful run, welcoming new skaters to the track and proving the community is growing in every direction. With the weather getting better and so many new places to check out, May is shaping up to be an epic month for skating in Helsinki. Let’s get rolling!
