What’s up, Calgary skaters! The energy heading into April is absolutely electric, and it’s all thanks to you. Our community put a major new spot on the map this month: House of Skate! This place is already becoming the city’s new roller hub, and it’s easy to see why. External buzz confirms they’re running an awesome variety of weekly events, from all-ages Family Skates to bumping 18+ Adult Skates with live DJs. If you’re looking to level up your skills, they’re even offering Learn to Roller Skate classes for every skill level.
Of course, the good times don’t stop there. The whole city is buzzing with skate energy. The awesome weekly Roller Disco nights at SkyCastle Roller Rink are still the place to be for a classic jam, and the local derby scene is fired up after hosting a Team Canada Roller Derby practice in March. It’s clear that Calgary is the place to roll this spring, and we can’t wait to see you out there!
