You voted, we listened. See the future of the app (and play with it) right now.
Hey Skaters,
“Let’s Roll isn’t just an app; it’s a community.” But a community shouldn’t just be told what’s coming next. They should help decide it.
For a long time, we’ve been tracking your votes on our All Our Ideas page. We’ve watched the battles between features, seen what you prioritize, and read your comments.
And the data doesn’t lie.
What You Told Us (The Data) 📊
Looking at the thousands of votes you cast, a clear picture emerged from the top of the leaderboard:
- You want connection: “Allow users to find local skate communities” is sitting at the very top with a 67 score.
- You want action: “Show local activities or events” is right behind it with a 64 score.
- You want visibility: “Allow users to add events and view local skate activities” is fighting hard with a 62 score.
The message is loud and clear: You want to find where the party is, whether it’s down the street or across the ocean.
Introducing: build.lets-roll.app 🚀
Today, we are tearing down the wall between “Us” (the developers) and “You” (the skaters).
We are launching build.lets-roll.app.
This isn’t just a boring list of bullet points. This is our Open Roadmap. It’s a live look at what we are designing, thinking about, and building. It’s where we share the raw sketches before they become code.
A Sneak Peek: The “Global Gatherings” Update 🌍
To kick things off, we’ve posted our very first interactive mockup on the build site. It directly addresses those top votes from the survey regarding events.
The Problem:
Right now, the event feed can be overwhelming. We often show you a long list of every event happening in the world, sorted only by time. This makes it hard to find the massive international festivals worth traveling for, but it also clogs up your feed, making it harder to spot the small session happening right in your city tonight.
The Solution:
We are building a Spotlight Carousel that sits at the top of your events feed to separate the “Dreams” from the “Daily.”
- The World Tour: A horizontal slider highlighting major International Festivals. It’s your inspiration board for your next skate-cation.
- The Local Scene: Your main vertical feed stays right below it. By moving the big global events into the spotlight, this list becomes clean, clutter-free, and 100% focused on what’s happening near you.
Go Play With It!
Don’t just take our word for it. Go to build.lets-roll.app right now.
You can actually click through the mobile mockup, scroll the new carousel, and see exactly how this “Local vs. Global” split will feel in your hand.
This is Your App. Keep Voting.
This new roadmap site links directly back to our Voting Page. Please, keep voting! Every time you pick a winner, you are literally shaping the code we write next.
Let’s build this thing together.
Keep Rolling!
